Shit happens? No – there is a severe lack of responsibility.

On Monday morning, July 28th, at 8:00, I suffered an accident on my way from home to work (our Medical Center on La Gomera ) – I fell very badly caused by someone else.

The reason was piles of rubble in bags, left over from renovations at a building
owned by a local resident. These bags were left very wicked on a public path.

Result: I spent several days in the hospital in San Sebastian de La Gomera due to a complicated fracture of my left ankle. It will take a long time until I am fully recovered.

A lot was planned for the months of August / September – besides work, holidays:
the production of a photo report from Africa for a photo magazine.

I had to cancel everything. I can’t work either.
